Day1 + Day 2: Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve
After having breakfast the driver guide will pick you up at the hotel with packed lunch and proceed to Selous Game Reserve with picnic lunch on the way. Late afternoon, boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River Dinner and overnight at Selou Riverside camp (http://www.selousriversidecamp.com ).You will discover the Rufiji River by boat, encounter hippos and crocodiles in good numbers. Some 350 bird species have been recorded in the Selous Game Reserve. These are typical of miombo woodlands, and the bird life supported by Rufiji swamplands is of particular interest. The second day will be spending for the game drive with pick nick lunch at Selous search for predators and pray.
Day 3+ Day 4: Game drive at Selous Game Reserve
After breakfast we will check out from the camp, then proceed for another full day game drive in Selous Game Reserve . Enjoy lunch in one of the picnic sites. After lunch you will continue with game drive, selous Game reserve cover 5% of Tanzania total land area and is approximately 55 sq kilometer Selous is the African largest wildlife reserve and Tanzania most extensive protected area. Selous Game reserve is the home of lion, wild dog, elephants, buffaloes and also rich of variety bird life .Dinner and overnight at African Safari Camp- Bungalow (http://www.africa-safari.com ) on full board.
Day 5: Selous Game Reserve –Mikumi town
Early in the morning after breakfast the driver guide will pick you up from the camp and start to drive you to mikumi town with packed lunch box. The driver will make you pass through farms along Uluguru Mountains and villagers.It takes you about 8-10hrs to reach in Mikumi town. Dinner and over night at Tan Swiss lodge (www.tan–swiss.com ) in Mikumi town which is 20 minutes drive to Mikumi National Park.
Day 6: Mikumi town-Mikumi National Park
In the morning after breakfast the driver guide will pick you at the lodge and heading to Mikumi National Park. The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Mikumi National Park. The park is intersected by the Tanzania highway dividing the park in two sections. The northwest is flat with grassy plains while the south is more bushy and undulating. Today you might see kudus, sable antelopes and some of the 400 bird species of the park. After a full day game drive Dinner and overnight at Tan Swiss lodge (www.tan–swiss.com ).
Day 07 + Day 08: Mikumi National Park- Ruaha National Park.
You will start the day early for the drive to the Ruaha National Park. You will then continue through small villages before you arrive at the entry gate to Ruaha National Park – your overnights stay is at Ruaha River Lodge for the next two nights. After checking in, you will go on a game drive in the Ruaha National Park. The park is famous for its rugged beauty, kudus, over 570 bird species and elephants – about 10,000. You might also see buffaloes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, rare wild dogs, sable antelopes, giraffes, zebras, warthogs and the huge roan antelope. You will return to the Ruaha River lodge (http://www.ruahariverlodge.com/accomodation ) on the outskirts of the park in time for dinner. Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner
Day 09 + Day 10: Game drive Ruaha National Park
Today you will have time for some game viewing in the Ruaha National Park. Ruaha is the largest park in Tanzania, so chances are good that you won’t see many other vehicles. The park forms a border between Africa’s eastern and southern eco-system and here you will find animals which you won’t see further north. The life source of the park is the Great Ruaha River with huge numbers of crocodiles and hippos. During the dry season animals gather around the water sources of the park, while the wet season is better for bird watching and flowers. After a long safari day, you will return to the Ruaha Hiltop Lodg (http://www.ruahahilltoplodge.com/accommodation ) in the evening. Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner and overnight
Day 11+ Day12: Ruaha National Park-Udzungwa Forest camp
Today you will have a relax breakfast then after load the safari vehicle then proceed to Udzungwa forest camp, pick nick lunch on the way then arrive late evening at Udzungwa forest camp for dinner and overnight at Ensuite tent, two nights will be spent here. Next morning, Hiking Udzungwa Mountain National
After breakfast drive to Udzugwa Mountain National with packed lunch box.
The Udzungwa Mountain National Park, which is 1990 sq.kms. Is the first terrestrial National park in Tanzania. It is well known for its biologically diverse forest, with approximately 20 – 30% out of 200 animals and plant species that grow here not found anywhere in the world. Still it is really beautiful place for hiking.Enjoy lunch on the mountain. Hiking on Udzunwa mountain will give a chance to visit all three waterfalls and refresh with swimming after a long time walk. It is one of the top ten forests for bird conservation in Africa. Wildlife: Variety of animal species can be found here, including water buffalo, leopards, elephants, and full of reptiles and snakes and more.
Day 13: Udzungwa National Park-Dar es salaam city
After breakfast visit rubber plantation and with mang’ula village with an English speaking tour guide, then after pic nick lunch then after all this driver guide will drive you to Dar es Salaam for your flight connection at 3am. On this day you will have slow drive on the way you can visit Morogoro town just to see the city on the way to Dar es Salaam.
