Day 1: Fly Out from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport–Tarangire National Park
On this day, you’ll have the option to explore either Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park, each offering a unique safari experience depending on the time of year. Your guide will provide recommendations based on the best choice for your safari.
If you choose Tarangire National Park, your journey will begin after breakfast with a scenic two-hour drive from Arusha. En route, you’ll pass through vibrant Masai villages and the sweeping plains that epitomize the African landscape.
Opting for Lake Manyara National Park, your adventure kicks off after breakfast with a drive to the park, which typically takes about two hours. Along the way, you’ll traverse the bustling market town of Mto Wa Mbu, renowned for its agricultural produce market and cultural diversity, offering ample opportunities for souvenir hunting.
After your day of exploration, you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening and overnight stay at the Farm of Dreams Lodge. Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour– Arusha Airport to Zanzibar Island
Today begins with an early start as you embark on your journey to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll descend into the 600-meter-deep caldera via a thrilling path. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, this immense collapsed volcano shelters a diverse array of wildlife, including over 25,000 mammals such as spotted hyenas and the renowned Big Five — elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, and lion. A delightful lunch awaits you at a picturesque picnic spot within the crater, providing a perfect pause amidst your wildlife encounters.
As the afternoon unfolds, you’ll continue your exploration in search of yet unseen wildlife wonders. Later, you’ll depart from the conservation area and make your way back to Arusha Airport for your onward flight connection to Zanzibar. - Passengers should bring only duffle bags safaris{not suitcases}
- All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.
- Baggage on domestic flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
- Passengers arriving to Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
- Tourist Visa will be obtained at the entry points, but it is advisable to double check before travelling to Tanzania.
