After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate and begin hiking through the lush rainforest. Along the way, enjoy birdwatching and small wildlife. Continue until you reach Mandara Hut for dinner and overnight.
Today, hike through heathland and moorland while enjoying scenic mountain views. Take breaks to rest and admire the surroundings. Arrive at Horombo Hut in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.
Move from Horombo to Kibo Hut through the alpine desert zone. Notice the change in vegetation and the stunning high-altitude landscapes. Prepare for the early summit attempt at Kibo Hut and rest overnight.
Start very early before dawn and climb to Uhuru Peak. Watch the sunrise and take in panoramic views from Africa’s highest point. After celebrating the summit, descend back to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.
Continue descending from Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate. Finally, drive back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. Rest, freshen up, and continue to the airport for departure if scheduled.
